This weeks post is combining type and cookies! Can’t get much better than that!? I found a  recipe on For Me, For You, that was snagged from Shirley Hendrickson, who adapted it from the New York Times! What I love about Kate and Shirley’s adaption is that they share each little secret into making this recipe a success, which is really important. So my homework for you is – head over to One By Four Studio and download this beautiful, vintage, condensed sans-serif font AND make these tasty cookies!! You can thank me (and, Kate and Shirley) later! YUM! -Eva Black

This week’s font : Matchbook

I love matchbook. It’s one of my fave fonts and I use it all. the. time. It’s the perfect mix of quirky and vintage.

i made these cookies (twice!!) last month and they are the most amazing, melt-in-your-mouth cookies ever! the recipe freaked me out a little at first (i.do.not.bake), but the hints from kate and shirley were so helpful! the only thing that i differed from their recipes, was that i didn’t have an electric mixer. so, that was done by hand! they ended up a bit more dense than i think they were supposed to be, but hell, it was a damn good cookie regardless! this post and that type has me thinking about going for round 3… Yumyumyum
