I’m a huge fan of this quote. I feel that as artists and designers (any many other jobs), our professions are continually evolving. There is always something new to learn. New techniques, new technology, and new ideas. But, one of my favorite things to do is learn new skills. Skills that we aren’t necessary to our jobs, but will set you apart from the crowd and challenge yourself. Like, I’m a huge fan of amazing calligraphers — they’re work is so beautiful and delicate. So recently, I’ve been trying to teach myself how! It can be difficult but it’s a fun way to challenge myself.
