Top-Notch Type | #13

August 02, 2012

Happy Thursday Top-Notch Type Enthusiasts! Once again I’m sharing another free favorites. I started using Oswald a while back as a free alternative to many other thicker condensed san-serif fonts. It’s a great classic font that stands up nicely with some of it’s “rival” fonts that you’d have to purchase. With it’s strong letter forms and a touch of being condensed, this font is perfect for all different needs. Especially because it comes in three weights, whether that be as a title font or a paragraph font — Oswald holds it’s weight (no pun intended for this thick font!). And, really, how great is it’s name? Oswald. Enjoy! -Eva Black
