Some News

December 13, 2012

If you haven’t heard the news yet, here it goes… I have officially decided to move to San Francisco. It will be happening in… 28 days! I am incredibly excited & sad, mainly excited! Los Angeles has been so wonderful to me this past year – it was hard to imagine leaving when I first considered it ( I can’t believe it has already been a full year ). My handful of friends have kept me inspired, happy, and in motion – something that I haven’t had in a very very long time. I am going to miss them dearly but look forward to maintaing their relationships while moving forward and starting new ones. Cheers to change!!! P.S. This pic was taken by Lou Mora while driving around in a friend’s Volvo drinking slurpees.

NOTE: If you are in the bay area – I’d love to hear from you! I don’t know very many people there and am excited to branch out! Also, I am looking for a shared work space and have no leads as of right now. Any words of wisdom would be GREATLY appreciated. xoxo**

i’m pretty sure makeshift society is in sf…it’s co-working space started by some well known bloggers/creatives…seems like it would be a fantastic space for those in the creative field – lots of good energy, sharing of ideas, and a great place to network.

good luck with your move!

you’re gonna love it! I lived in the bay area for 7 years and it is truly a wonderful wonderful place to live! Husband and i are currently living in spain but contemplating a big move to nyc next year, so i share your uneasiness at transition time. but i’m sure it will be a great change. the one recommendation i have is that you eat these tacos:

Welcome to SF (soon)!! I just moved here a year ago and absolutely love it. I’m still exploring and getting to know the city so if you want to meet up for coffee or explore a new neighborhood, let me know. :)

for workspace, makeshift society (others have mentioned it too) is pretty cool. I think they call it a “clubhouse for creatives’ which sounds awesome to me. The other day when I was downtown, I also walked past a place called Next Space. It may be more officey than what you’re looking for though. Needless to say, there are tons of options here in sf for you to check out!

As for office space, do you need a dedicated space? If not, have you looked into makeshift society?

Hi there Emma,
I read your post and it was like hearing myself talking…
I just moved to SF (two weeks ago) from Israel and… as you can imagine I know no one in the city (or basically this side of the world).
Would love to meet the friendly and cheerful you!
Sending your way a sunny smile,
Einat
