Happy Friday! My weekend has officially started early – I have family ( my cousin Daniel from Louisiana ) in town so we’ve been gallivanting around Los Angeles all week. Yesterday we indulged in Wurstkuche sausages & beer, we walked around the Arts District, hunted down a leather shop, took an afternoon nap, and ate lots more!! It’s always such a refresher to be with family and feel close to home – I needed this visit very badly! P.S. If any LA people out there have suggestions, we are looking for fun things to do this weekend! We welcome your ideas with open arms. I am still so clueless when it comes to this awesome city…

Sounds lovely. I have a friend coming to visit saturday night and i’m quite excited to show her my city too. sometimes we need out-of-town guests to shake things up at home.
