Introducing Priscilla Barroso of Crowned Bird. She is a former San Francisco tailor and an incredibly talented designer. Priscilla just launched her first apparel collection ( clap** Bravo** ) – it’s a 15 piece line based off of a 1960 storybook called Peppermint Fence! I want every single thing from the collection – no joke!! She likes to take fabrics from around the world and create looks that are very much inspired by the past, but conscious of trends. She currently has a Kickstarter Project going that lasts for 11 more days. “My favorite piece in this photo is the Crowned Bird Honeycreeper pincord skirt. I love it not only for the versatile fabric choice but the pop kelly green color. The elastic waistband lets me wear it high waisted or at the hip, with an added plus of two over-sized patch pockets! So sweet.”
