Introducing my new assistant – Irene Manjarrez!! Yesterday was her first day with me and it was just GREAT! I have been trying to do everything on my own for so long – I finally broke down and decided to bring someone on to help me stay sane – so far so good!! I’m not going to lie, it was hard for me to wrap my head around letting go of certain tasks – baby steps, baby steps.
She is a Los Angeles native with a degree in Cinema-Television and has been in the multimedia industry for over 8 years. Since she was little, she has been in love with drawing and all things paper. “I remember it clearly; my mom brought home a stack of sea-foam color notepads for me to use as drawing paper, and the rest is history. Currently she is focusing on building her freelance work as a graphic designer & wardrobe stylist. “I might have hit the reset button by mistake on my career, all in a very good way – and If I can somehow combine multimedia, graphic design, and styling, I’ll be one happy camper!”
…and now her favorite piece and why :
“My favorite piece has to be the Diesel top – for its structure. It was a Black Friday purchase from several years ago but I never get around to wearing it. It reminds me of the smocks doctors used to wear back in the 1940’s – perhaps I watch to many classic movies!”
THANKS IRENE.
