I am so madly in love with these images taken by Feather Love – it makes me wish I was a mixologist and specialized in drink making!! One of the things that was on my 25 Things To Do Before 25 list was to learn how to do exactly this. Did I? Nope. Looks like I need to carry it over to my 30 before 30, ha! I definitely need to learn to mix drinks. I pretty much only drink beer or wine when i’m home, but i get cocktails when i go out. Right now the extent of my mixology is cranberry vodka. Must start working on this skill.

You’re right – these photos are beautiful! That drink looks so tasty, whatever it is. my absolute favorite cocktail of all time is a scotch & sour – scotch with lemon juice and a bit of sugar. Simple and so delicious. I add a few cherries if I’m feeling fancy :D

I just tried a spicy tequila margarita last weekend for the first time and have been craving another all week long! A kick of habañero balanced with tart citrus….so good and refreshing!

These photos look like they’re from a bygone era, how wonderful. i love cocktails but my favourite is the lychee martini or espresso martini from milk & honey in soho (London, not new york!).

Yeah! Loved these photos and recipes from the latest issue. my go-to cocktails are probably mojitos, moscow mules and margaritas (the three m’s!) i love making drinks for people – if you’re ever in seattle, come visit and we’ll have some drinks! :)

Ooh, my favourites are based on seasons:
Summer is a watermelon Mojito (summer in a glass!) and so refreshing.
Winter is mulled wine, although i’m planning on constructing a hot chai cider with vanilla vodka, just as soon as i finish infusing it..
