My name is Emma – I am originally from Dallas, Texas and am now residing in Silverlake, CA. I am a graphic designer, paper shop owner, knitter & blogger! I can’t seem to sit still for too long so I have a lot of endeavors that keep me engaged and growing as a small business owner. I love what I do and feel very lucky for that. As long as I am creating and visually communicating – I will be a happy camper. I work hard and a lot ( probably too much ) in hopes that I will put good and creative work into the world. I know I am doing exactly what I was made to do – and hope to grow and improve as long as I am on this creative/artistic path.

Emmadime, the blog, was started in 2008 while I was getting my BFA in design. I had to do something with all the inspiration I was pulling & sorting through – I felt like a blog was the perfect way to share and organize it all. It has continued to serve that same purpose but has grown into something much more – it has definitely become an extension of me and my creative career. Enjoy.
